Near-Field Studio Monitors

The Ortizan C7-professional 2.0 is a pair of active monitor speakers designed for near-field music production and desktop listening. Each unit delivers 60 watts of RMS power through a 3.5-inch carbon-fibre mid-bass driver and a 0.75-inch silk dome tweeter. A built-in 24-bit DAC handles digital conversion via USB for direct computer connection. The frequency response reaches 20 KHz with an 85 decibel signal-to-noise ratio.

Upgrade from Basic Desktop Speakers

These monitors replace standard multimedia speakers when accurate monitoring matters more than boosted bass. The electronic 2-way crossover and suspended sound structure provide clearer mid-low separation and transparent highs for mixing decisions. The jump is worth it for content creators who need flat response and low distortion at close range. Casual listeners who prefer enhanced low-end impact for movies or gaming may find the neutral tuning less exciting.

Simple Desktop Setup

Installation is straightforward: connect via USB for digital audio, RCA for analogue sources, 3.5 mm AUX for portable devices, or Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming. Touch controls on the speaker manage volume and input selection without a separate remote. The 5.11 by 5.9 by 7.67 inch cabinets weigh 3.79 kilograms per pair and suit typical bookshelf or desk placement. Ensure adequate rear clearance for the bass port to avoid boomy low-frequency buildup.

Questions about this item

How much desk depth do the 5.11 in x 7.67 in speakers need?

Each monitor measures 5.11 in wide by 7.67 in deep, so allow at least 7.67 in of shelf depth plus a few centimetres behind for the rear‑firing ports and cable bend radius.

Which input should I select first when setting up the 24‑bit USB DAC?

Connect the USB cable to your computer, power on the pair, then tap the touch panel to choose the USB source; the DAC will enumerate automatically and become the default playback device.

When should I check the 3.5‑inch carbon‑fibre woofers and 0.75‑inch silk dome tweeters?

Inspect the driver surrounds and tweeter domes once a year for dust or deformation; vacuum gently with a soft brush and verify the touch controls still cycle through Bluetooth 5.3, RCA, 3.5 mm AUX and USB inputs.
