12 LC Duplex Fiber Adapter Panel

This panel provides twelve LC duplex ports in a horizontal orientation for single-mode OS1/OS2 fibre. It mounts in standard rack and wall-mount enclosures to organise patching in data-centre and enterprise networks. The blue adapters identify single-mode connections at a glance. Operating range spans -40 °C to 80 °C and the unit is RoHS compliant.

Upgrade from lower-density panels

Replacing a six-port or eight-port panel with this twelve-port unit doubles or increases fibre density in the same rack unit. The jump is worthwhile when patch-panel space is limited and additional single-mode circuits must be terminated without adding another enclosure. Installers gain more ports per unit of vertical space while maintaining the same LC duplex footprint.

Fits 109 × 35 × 44 mm enclosure slots

The panel slides into compatible rack or wall-mount enclosures that accept the 109 mm length, 35 mm width and 44 mm height form factor. No specialised tools are required beyond standard panel-mounting hardware. It frees adjacent rack units for other equipment by concentrating twelve duplex connections into a single compact module.

Questions about this item

Will the 109×35×44 mm panel fit my rack enclosure cut-out?

The panel measures 109 mm long, 35 mm wide and 44 mm high; compare those dimensions with your enclosure's adapter cut-out before ordering.

Which way do the 12 blue LC duplex adapters face when the panel is mounted horizontally?

Mount the panel so the blue LC duplex adapters sit horizontally; the keyed housings only snap in one orientation, so forcing them backwards is the common error.

How often should I clean the 12 LC duplex ferrules in this panel?

Inspect and clean each ferrule with a lint-free wipe and isopropyl alcohol whenever you re-patch or at least every six months to keep insertion loss low.
