24-Fiber Rack Patch Panel

This 19-inch rack enclosure provides a 24-fiber patch panel with 48 LC couplers for single-mode or multimode networks. The metal chassis measures 19 x 7.87 x 1.81 inches and includes two splice trays and a complete accessory set. It is built for structured cabling in server rooms and data centres.

Suited for LC single-mode or multimode deployments

Network engineers terminating up to 48 cores in a single rack unit will find the pre-loaded couplers and splice trays convenient. Installations requiring SC, ST or MTP connectors, or densities beyond 48 cores in this form factor, should look at alternative panels.

48-core LC capacity in 1U

The panel comfortably handles 48 fiber cores across 24 adapter ports with room for fusion splicing in the included trays. It runs out of ports at 48 cores, so larger fibre counts demand additional enclosures or higher-density cassettes.

Questions about this item

What rack depth and clearance do I need to fit the 19 x 7.87 x 1.81 inch patch panel?

The panel is 19 inches wide and 7.87 inches deep, so it mounts in a standard 19-inch rack with at least 8 inches of usable depth behind the front rails.

Can I use the 48 LC couplers with my existing OS1 single-mode patch cords?

Yes, the 48-core panel accepts LC connectors and supports OS1 single-mode fiber, so your current single-mode patch cords will plug straight in.

How do I verify the 24 fibers are terminated correctly after installation?

Connect a light source and power meter to each LC port; a steady loss reading within your link budget confirms every fiber is spliced and seated properly.
