10 km SFP+ transceiver

The Other Electricities module is a 10GBASE-LR compatible SFP+ transceiver built for 10 km single-mode fibre links. It targets network engineers who need a hot-pluggable 10.3125 Gbps optic for enterprise switches or storage arrays. The duplex LC interface fits standard SFP+ cages without adapters.

1310 nm DFB wavelength

The transmitter uses a 1310 nm DFB laser to reach the rated 10 km distance over OS2 fibre. Digital optical monitoring lets the host read real-time power and temperature data. This wavelength and reach combination decides whether the part matches the planned link budget.

Duplex LC SMF integration
