Transceiver for 10GBASE-T networks

This SFP+ module adds a 10 Gbps RJ-45 port to compatible switches and servers. It supports copper cabling up to 30 metres on Cat6a or Cat7 links. The transceiver operates across a commercial temperature range of 0 to 70°C.

Distance and cabling limits

Maximum reach is 30 metres and requires Cat6a, Cat7 or better copper cable. Shorter runs on lower-grade cable are not guaranteed by the specification. The module draws 2.9 W and complies with IEEE 802.3an and IEEE 802.3az standards.

Intel E10GSFPT compatible form factor

The module follows the SFP+ MSA and SFF-8431 mechanical and electrical definitions. It is built as a direct replacement for the Intel E10GSFPT part number. Buyers needing a different vendor-coded transceiver or fibre interface cannot use this unit.
