Two 64 GB DDR4 2400 ECC load-reduced DIMMs for Cisco UCS B420 M4 and C460 M4 servers
This OWC kit supplies 128GB of DDR4 ECC Load Reduced memory as two 64GB modules rated at 2400MHz CL17. It is built for Cisco UCS B420 M4 and C460 M4 systems that require 288-pin LRDIMMs at 1.2V.
The Load Reduced design lowers electrical load on the memory bus so dense 4Rx4 modules can operate without signal degradation. ECC corrects single-bit errors to protect data integrity in server and workstation workloads.
Modules install in standard 288-pin DDR4 slots but must not be mixed with unbuffered or registered ECC DIMMs. The kit is not compatible with desktop or consumer motherboards.

Other versions of this model
The modules are JEDEC-compliant DDR4 LRDIMMs at 1.2V and 2400MHz CL17. They install directly into Cisco UCS B420 M4 or C460 M4 (DDR4) slots without additional firmware steps.
The DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 bus sets the peak bandwidth ceiling; CL17 latency determines response time within that bandwidth envelope.
Each 64GB LRDIMM operates at 1.2V without a heat spreader, relying on the server's forced airflow for cooling during continuous operation.
