Server-grade DDR3 ECC RDIMM

This 16GB DDR3 1333 module is built for Supermicro SuperServer 6016 and 6026 series systems. It delivers registered ECC reliability for workloads that cannot tolerate data corruption. The single DIMM plugs directly into a 240-pin DDR3 slot and runs at the standard 1.5V.

Registered ECC limits

Registered DIMMs place a register between the memory controller and the DRAM, which adds one clock cycle of latency but allows the server platform to populate many more slots than unbuffered memory permits. ECC corrects single-bit errors and detects multi-bit errors, but the module must not be mixed with unbuffered sticks and will not function in standard desktop boards.
