This 1 TB kit contains four 256 GB DDR4 2933 PC4-23400 CL21 ECC load-reduced DIMMs. It is built for Cisco UCS B200 M5, B480 M5, C220 M5, C240 M5 and C480 M5 servers that require registered ECC memory. The modules operate at 1.2 V and use the 288-pin LRDIMM form factor. Workstations and standard desktops cannot use this memory type.

Thermals and Power

Each module runs at the JEDEC-standard 1.2 V, keeping power draw low for high-density server configurations. Load-reduced buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, which helps maintain stable thermals in multi-DIMM populated chassis. The kit is backward compatible with 2133, 2400 and 2666 MHz bus speeds, allowing operation at lower frequencies when the platform requires it.

Upgrade Path

This kit replaces Cisco part UCSML256G8RTH and expands capacity in compatible UCS M5 platforms.
