This OWC 16GB DDR4 2666 ECC SODIMM module is designed for Synology ActiveProtect DP320 and DP340 systems. It adds error-correcting memory capacity to compatible micro servers and NAS devices. The module is not suitable for standard consumer laptops or desktops that require non-ECC memory.

The 260-pin SODIMM slots into the memory socket on the target Synology unit. Because the module is unbuffered ECC, the system must support ECC functionality; otherwise the module will not operate correctly. No heat spreader is present, so ensure adequate airflow inside the chassis.
