2TB ECC Load Reduced Kit

This kit provides 2TB of DDR4 memory across eight 256GB LRDIMM modules. It is built for Cisco UCS B200 M5, B480 M5, C220 M5, C240 M5 and C480 M5 servers. The load-reduced design reduces electrical load on the memory bus. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or with unbuffered and registered ECC memory.

DDR4 2933 PC4-23400 Interface

Each module runs at 2933MHz with a CAS latency of 21 and operates at 1.2V. The 288-pin form factor fits server and workstation slots. Backward compatibility covers 2133MHz, 2400MHz and 2666MHz systems. Mixing with other ECC types is not supported and will prevent operation.

Replaces Cisco UCSML256G8RTH

This kit directly replaces the Cisco part number UCSML256G8RTH for the listed UCS M5 platforms. The upgrade is worthwhile when current capacity limits virtualization density or in-memory database performance.
