32 GB DDR4 ECC registered VLP RDIMM running at 2400 MHz CL17 for Supermicro SuperBlade servers
This 32GB DDR4 2400 module is built for Supermicro SuperBlade 7128 and 7428 series servers. It delivers registered ECC reliability in a very low-profile form factor that fits dense blade chassis. The single DIMM adds capacity without mixing buffer types.
Operating at 1.2 volts, the module runs cool inside tightly packed blade enclosures. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow from the system fans handles dissipation directly. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller during sustained workloads.
This upgrade replaces Supermicro part numbers including MEMDR432LCL02ER24 and MEMDR432LSV01ER. The jump is worth it when expanding memory in supported SuperBlade nodes or when standardising on a single vendor for warranty coverage. Not for desktop motherboards or unbuffered ECC configurations.

Align the notch on the 288-pin module with the slot key, press straight down until both retention clips click, and ensure the 1.2V DDR4 2400 module is seated in a registered-channel slot — not an unbuffered or load-reduced channel.
No scheduled maintenance is required; if a memory error appears, replace the single 32GB DIMM with an identical 2Rx4 CL17 registered module to keep rank and timing consistent.
The 2400 MT/s data rate and CL17 latency set the throughput ceiling; sustained use will hit bandwidth limits before thermal issues arise on this 1.2V VLP module.
