OWC 32GB DDR4 3200 ECC Registered RDIMM CL22 2Rx4 1.2V 288-pin memory upgrade

SKU CH-P82E-QE45G

32 GB DDR4-3200 ECC registered RDIMM for Gigabyte G152-Z12, H262-Z61, H262-Z62, H262-Z63 and H262-Z66 servers

  • Total capacity32 GB
  • Rated speedDDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
  • CAS latency22
  • Rated voltage1.2 V
  • Buffer typeRegistered
  • Memory rank2Rx4

Capacity 32GB

  • ECC registered design protects data integrity in servers and workstations
  • 32 GB capacity on a single 288-pin RDIMM doubles memory density per slot
  • DDR4 3200 speed with CL22 latency delivers high throughput for demanding workloads
  • 2 V operation reduces power draw and heat in dense configurations
  • Validated for Gigabyte G152-Z12, H262-Z61, H262-Z62, H262-Z63 and H262-Z66 systems

Server ECC RDIMM upgrade

This 32GB DDR4 3200 ECC Registered RDIMM is built for Gigabyte G152-Z12, H262-Z61, H262-Z62, H262-Z63 and H262-Z66 platforms. It delivers 32GB per module at 1.2V with CL22 timing and 2Rx4 organisation. The module follows JEDEC PC4-25600 specifications for server and workstation memory subsystems.

Replaces slower DDR4 ECC RDIMMs

It steps up from 2133, 2400, 2666 or 2933MHz registered ECC modules when the platform supports 3200MHz operation. The jump is worth it when workloads need the higher data rate and the board qualifies 3200MHz registered DIMMs. It will not work in systems that require unbuffered or load-reduced ECC memory.

Fits qualified Gigabyte server boards

The 288-pin registered DIMM slots into the validated Gigabyte models listed above without mixing with other ECC types. It frees a DIMM slot for additional capacity while keeping the memory channel at 1.2V. Builders needing unbuffered ECC or desktop memory must choose a different module type.

Questions about this item

Will the 288-pin ECC Registered DIMM fit in my Gigabyte H262-Z61 server board?

Yes, the module is a 288-pin DDR4 ECC Registered RDIMM validated for the Gigabyte H262-Z61, H262-Z62, H262-Z63, H262-Z66 and G152-Z12 platforms.

Do I need to populate specific slots or follow a ranked order when installing this 2Rx4 module?

Install the RDIMM in the slot sequence recommended by the Gigabyte server manual; the common mistake is mixing this Registered ECC module with Unbuffered or Load-Reduced DIMMs, which the manufacturer highlights as incompatible.

If a chip fails years from now, can I replace just this 32GB stick or must I swap the whole kit?

The module is sold as a single 32GB DIMM, so you can replace only the faulty stick; OWC backs it with a limited lifetime warranty and an advanced replacement program.
