Server ECC RDIMM Kit

This OWC kit provides 64 GB of DDR5 memory across four 16 GB registered DIMMs. It is built for workstations and servers that require ECC error correction and registered signal buffering. Standard desktop motherboards cannot use these modules.

DDR5 5600 registered limits

The modules run at DDR5 5600 (PC5-44800) with CL46 latency at 1.1 V. Registered DIMMs add a clock cycle of buffering, so the memory controller must support registered operation. Mixing with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs is not supported by the platform.

Platform compatibility check

Verify that your workstation or server motherboard lists DDR5 RDIMM support and accepts 1Rx8 registered modules. Confirm the maximum capacity per slot and the total number of populated channels. The kit contains four DIMMs for dual-channel population.
