Flame-retardant paper roll for large projects

This 36-inch wide by 1,000-foot long roll uses sulphite poster paper treated to meet California flame-resistant requirements and NFPA 701 standards. It is intended for classrooms, offices and other settings where flame-retardant paper is required. The Sunrise Yellow colour stays bright because the stock is 100 per cent vat-dyed and fade-resistant.

Suited for murals, banners and bulletin boards

Teachers, event organisers and facilities managers who need a wide, continuous backdrop will find the roll length practical for large-scale work. Buyers who need a heavier card stock, a different width or a non-flame-retardant option should consider other products.

40-lb sulphite stock with 50 per cent recycled

The paper weighs 40 lb and contains 50 per cent total recycled fibre, giving tear resistance while meeting green procurement goals. This specification determines whether the roll meets your durability and sustainability criteria.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 36-inch width or a narrower roll for classroom murals?

The 36-inch width covers large wall areas with fewer seams, making it efficient for full-height murals and wide bulletin-board backdrops in classrooms or hallways.

What does the 40-lb stock weight mean for daily handling in a school?

The 40-lb sulphite construction resists tearing when stapled, taped or rolled repeatedly, so banners and displays stay intact through frequent student interaction and seasonal changes.

How does the California Fire Marshal approval and NFPA 701 rating affect where I can hang this paper?

Both certifications confirm the roll meets flame-retardant requirements for public buildings, allowing use on corridors, assembly halls and classroom walls where fire codes mandate treated materials.
