Heavyweight construction paper

Pacon 103090 is a 76 lb sulphite construction paper measuring 18 by 24 inches with 50 sheets per pack. The 100% vat-dyed fibres run longer and stronger so the sheet resists cracking when scored, folded or curled. White colour gives a clean base for paint, marker or collage work.

Suited to classroom art and heavy craft projects

Teachers and students needing a durable large-format sheet for repeated folding or wet media will find the weight and fibre length appropriate. Buyers who require a lighter paper for simple cut-and-paste or a smaller sheet size for desk work should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How do I cut the 18 x 24 inch sheets to size without the 76 lb paper cracking?

Use a sharp craft knife and metal ruler on a cutting mat; score lightly first, then make a second pass to slice cleanly through the heavyweight fibres.

When will the white colour start to fade on this sulphite construction paper?

The 100 % vat-dyed sulphite fibres resist fading far longer than surface-dyed sheets, so colours stay bright through extended display and handling.
