Heavyweight Construction Paper

Pacon 103093 is a pack of 50 sheets sized 18 by 24 inches in black. The 76 lb stock is made from 100 percent vat-dyed sulphite fibres for consistent colour through the sheet. It suits classrooms, studios and offices that need durable paper for cutting, folding and mounting. The neutral pH helps preserve artwork over time.

76 lb Weight Rating

The 76 lb basis weight is the single figure that tells you whether this stock will hold up to scoring, wet media or repeated handling. Lighter grades buckle under glue or paint; heavier grades are unnecessary for simple display work. Match the weight to the project so the paper performs without waste.

Fits Flat Storage and Standard Cutters

Sheets measure 18 by 24 inches, so they lie flat in shallow drawers or portfolio cases without curling. The size feeds cleanly through rotary trimmers and guillotine cutters common in schools and print shops. No special equipment or climate control is required to keep the pack ready for use.

Questions about this item

What does the 76 lb weight mean when I handle a sheet?

Each 18 x 24 inch sheet feels substantial and resists bending, so it holds folds and cuts cleanly for large projects.

How does the vat-dyed sulphite construction affect colour consistency?

The colour runs through the full thickness, so edges and torn surfaces stay black without a white core showing.

Will the 18 x 24 inch sheets fit a standard drawing board or portfolio?

They match the common 18 x 24 size used for oversize sketch pads and presentation boards, so they slide in without trimming.
