Medium-weight sulphite drawing paper

This Pacon 4746 Art1st sketch pad contains 50 sheets of all-purpose white sulphite drawing paper in a 9 x 12 format. The 60 lb stock provides a substantial surface for dry media work. Acid-free construction helps preserve artwork over time. The pad format keeps sheets organised for studio or classroom use.

For practice and technique development

Artists and students who want an economical surface for daily sketching and experimenting with new methods will find this pad suitable. The medium weight handles graphite, charcoal and coloured pencil without excessive show-through. Buyers who need heavyweight paper for wet media such as watercolour or marker rendering should look at something else.

50-sheet pad count

The pad delivers 50 sheets of 60 lb acid-free sulphite paper, giving a deep supply for extended practice sessions or classroom distribution. This sheet count determines how long a single pad lasts before replacement. Buyers planning large-scale projects or high-volume workflows should calculate their consumption against this quantity.

How can I confirm the paper is acid-free after opening the pad?

Acid-free sulphite paper resists yellowing; you can verify by checking the manufacturer label on the pad cover or testing a corner with a pH pen.

Does the pad include a protective cover sheet or must I buy one separately?

The pad contains 50 sheets of 60 lb white sulphite drawing paper; no extra cover sheet or backing board is included.
