Pacon Art1st Sketch Diary 70 Sheets

The Pacon Art1st Sketch Diary provides 70 sheets of 94 g/m² white sulphite drawing paper in a 9.00" x 6.00" format. It is intended for artists and students who need a portable pad for quick-study sketches and dry-media work. The acid-free stock helps preserve drawings over time.

Spiral Binding for Flat Use

The side spiral binding lets the diary open flat on a desk or fold back on itself for one-handed sketching in the field. No assembly is required; simply remove any protective wrap and begin drawing. The binding can snag on bag straps if the pad is carried loose.

Consistent Surface Under Extended Sessions

The heavyweight 94 g/m² paper resists bleed-through and feathering during long periods of pencil, charcoal or pastel work. Sheets remain flat without cockling even when pressure is applied repeatedly. The surface does not degrade with erasing, so repeated corrections stay clean.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the spiral binding is secure and the paper accepts dry media without feathering after I start using the diary?

The 9.00" x 6.00" sulphite sheets are acid-free and designed for all dry media, so pencil, charcoal and pastel should lay down cleanly; a firm spiral that keeps every page flat when the book is opened is the sign it is working as intended.

What comes with the 4790 sketch diary and do I need to buy any extra sheets or a cover separately?

The pad includes 70 white sheets of 94 g/m² paper, spiral-bound on the side; no additional sheets or covers are required because the diary is sold as a complete, single unit.

Should I choose the 70-sheet 94 g/m² version or is there a different sheet count or weight for the same 4790 model?

The 4790 Art1st Sketch Diary is offered only with 70 sheets at 94 g/m² in the 9.00" x 6.00" format, so there are no alternative capacities or weights to select for this model.
