Classrooms and studio artists

Teachers stocking art rooms and artists working in multiple dry or wet media will appreciate the consistent tooth and large sheet count. Buyers who need coated inkjet photo paper, heavyweight board or rolls for large-format printers should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Does the 500-sheet ream of Pacon 4809 include any pads or boards, or must those be purchased separately?

The ream contains 500 loose sheets of 9 x 12 inch, 78 lb sulphite drawing paper. Pads, boards or other accessories are not included and must be bought separately.

Should I choose the 78 lb or 80 lb version of this 9 x 12 inch sulphite paper for mixed dry and wet media?

Both weights share the same 100% sulphite stock and medium tooth. The 80 lb sheets are slightly heavier, giving more resistance to buckling with watercolour, while the 78 lb version works well for pencil, crayon and charcoal.
