Heavyweight Duo-Finish Kraft paper roll

This 36-inch by 1000-foot roll of 48 lb Duo-Finish® Kraft paper provides a heavyweight surface for classroom and studio projects. One side is smooth for felt pens, finger painting and fine line drawing, while the reverse side is textured to accept chalk, watercolor, tempera and acrylic paints. The dark blue colour serves as a ready-made background for displays and murals.

Dual-surface versatility for mixed media

The two distinct finishes remove the need to stock separate smooth and textured papers, letting teachers and artists switch techniques on the same sheet. The 1000-foot length supports continuous runs for long banners or high-volume daily use without frequent roll changes. Sold as a single roll.

Questions about this item

Does the 48 lb Duo-Finish Kraft paper need any special storage to keep both sides usable?

Store the 36 inch wide roll flat or on its core in a dry area; the smooth side stays ready for felt pens and fine line drawing while the textured side remains receptive to chalk, watercolor, tempera and acrylic paints.

How many feet of the 36 inch roll can be used before the paper runs out during a large project?

The roll contains 1000 feet of 48 lb Duo-Finish Kraft paper, so a single continuous project can draw from the full length before a replacement roll is required.
