Handling and Storage

The paper is supplied new in a flat pack that resists curling when stored in dry conditions. Sheets separate cleanly without static cling and accept crayon, marker, tempera paint and glue without excessive bleed-through. No special environmental controls are required beyond normal indoor humidity.

The 150-sheet count provides enough stock for multiple class sessions or large group activities. The 9 x 12 format fits standard school paper trays, construction paper holders and laminating pouches. Teachers can allocate colours by theme without opening separate packages.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 9 x 12 inch sheets into a standard printer tray without jamming?

Fan the 150 sheets before loading, align the 9-inch edge against the width guide, and do not exceed the tray's maximum fill line; the 70 lb text weight feeds like standard copy paper when the guides are snug.

Will the black, orange, and purple colors fade if the finished projects are displayed on a classroom wall?

The construction paper is not rated for lightfastness; prolonged direct sunlight will cause noticeable fading, so rotate displays or keep them away from strong UV exposure.

At what point does the 70 lb text weight start to curl or jam during a long print run?

The basis weight is designed for single-pass printing; curling typically appears after several consecutive sheets if the printer's fuser runs hot, so pause the job to let the stack cool.
