Compact UHD 4K60 Camcorder Kit

The Panasonic HC-X1600 records UHD 4K video at up to 60 frames per second using a 1/2.5 inch 8.29MP MOS sensor. A 24x optical zoom and 48x digital i.ZOOM cover wide and telephoto framing. The bundle adds a 64GB Extreme PRO card, 75mm tripod, LED video light, filters, HDMI cable, card reader, cleaning kit and a dual-strap gadget bag for mobile creators.

Sustained 4K Recording and Streaming

The camcorder maintains high-bitrate UHD 4K capture at 200 Mb/s using HEVC codec at 59.49 or 50p without time limits shown in the data. Five-axis hybrid optical stabilisation keeps handheld footage steady during long takes. Full HD super slow motion runs at 120 or 100 fps for extended replay sequences. Live streaming outputs up to 1080p over multiple protocols for continuous broadcast workflows.

24x Optical Zoom with Manual Rings

The integrated lens provides 24x optical reach and 48x digital extension, a fixed range that cannot be swapped for wider or longer glass. Manual focus, zoom and iris rings give tactile control but limit users who need interchangeable focal lengths or cinema-style follow-focus gears. Buyers requiring lens flexibility should consider a system camera instead.

Questions about this item

How hot or noisy does the HC-X1600 get when recording UHD 4K60 at 200 Mb/s for long sessions?

The camcorder uses a compact 1/2.5" MOS sensor and passive cooling; extended 4K60 recording at 200 Mb/s will warm the body but the unit has no fan, so it stays silent during operation.

Which memory card speed class is required to capture 4K60 at the full 200 Mb/s bit rate?

The bundled SanDisk Extreme PRO 64 GB card is rated at 200 MB/s read speed, which meets the V60 / U3 class needed for sustained 200 Mb/s HEVC recording on the HC-X1600.

Can I mount the included 75 mm tripod, 160 LED light and 62 mm filter kit on the camcorder simultaneously?

Yes — the 75 mm tripod provides the base, the 180° flash bracket adds a cold-shoe for the 160 LED light, and the 62 mm filter threads accept the UV, CPL and FLD filters from the 3-piece kit.
