SKU CH-012W-KS51C

Four 1920x1080 sensors capture 8 MP panoramic video at 30 fps with H.264 and H.265 compression over PoE Plus Class 4

  • Product typeDome Camera
  • Panoramic 8 MP coverage from four 1920x1080 sensors
  • Smooth 30 fps video with H.265 and H.264 efficiency
  • Motorised dome simplifies aiming and focus
  • Outdoor-rated housing resists dust, water, shock and wind
  • PoE Plus Class 4 delivers power and data over one cable

Panoramic Multi-Sensor Coverage

The Panasonic i-Pro WV-S8531N combines four FHD sensors into a single dome housing to deliver an 8MP panoramic view. It is designed for outdoor surveillance installations that require wide-area monitoring without deploying multiple separate cameras.

Rugged Dome With PoE Plus Class 4

The dome chassis is rated dust resistant, water resistant, shock resistant and wind resistant for exposed mounting. Motorised lens adjustment simplifies aiming after installation, and PoE Plus Class 4 supplies both power and data over a single Gigabit Ethernet cable.

H.264 And H.265 At 30 FPS

Each 1920x1080 stream encodes in MJPEG, H.264 or H.265 at up to 30 fps, limiting bandwidth and storage demand to those codecs and frame rates. Buyers who need higher frame rates, different compression standards or additional sensor arrays should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Does the GbE interface limit the four 1920x1080 streams at 30 fps?

The camera uses a single GbE port with PoE Plus Class 4 power; four 1920x1080 streams at 30 fps are encoded in H.264 or H.265 to fit within that link.

What mounting surface and clearance does the dome need?

The outdoor-rated dome is dust, water, shock and wind resistant; it mounts on a flat ceiling or wall with enough depth for the motorized lens module behind the cover.

How is the camera commissioned and which step is often missed?

Connect the PoE Plus Class 4 cable, assign an IP address, then enable each of the four sensors and set their individual H.264 or H.265 profiles — skipping the per-sensor codec setup is the common oversight.
