Panasonic Premium Keyboard CF-VEK333LMP

The Panasonic Premium Keyboard CF-VEK333LMP is a dedicated accessory for the Toughbook CF-33 MK2. It provides a full keyboard layout with an emissive red backlight adjustable across four levels. A built-in handle and kickstand allow the display to be opened to any angle. The unit connects via a dock interface and adds a comprehensive set of ports.

Suits CF-33 users needing desktop expansion

This keyboard suits field workers who need a rugged typing platform and extra I/O for the CF-33 tablet. It adds Ethernet, full-size SDXC, HDMI, VGA, two USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0, serial over USB, power input, a docking connector and a Kensington lock slot. Buyers who do not own a CF-33 MK2 cannot use this accessory. It is not for users seeking a wireless or Bluetooth keyboard.

Dock installation with latch and release

Installation uses the forward or reverse-dockable mechanism to lock the tablet into convertible mode. A tablet release button with lock and unlock function secures the latch arm. Alignment of the docking connector is the main point of failure; forcing the tablet before the latch engages can bend pins. No tools are required, but the tablet must be powered off before docking.

Questions about this item

Does the CF-VEK333LMP require a Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 MK2 tablet to function?

Yes, this premium keyboard is designed exclusively for the CF-33 MK2 tablet and will not operate without it.

Will the CF-VEK333LMP keyboard's two USB 3.0 ports and HDMI output work with older peripherals that only support USB 2.0 and VGA?

Press the backlight toggle; the emissive red illumination should cycle through four distinct brightness levels.
