Questions about this item

What video source do I need to use the HDMI input on the PT-FW430U?

Any device with an HDMI output — laptop, media player, or game console — will feed the projector's native 1280 x 800 panel and its 1080p HD video mode.

Can I keep using my older VGA laptop with this projector?

Yes, the PT-FW430U includes a VGA terminal alongside HDMI and DVI, so a legacy VGA source connects directly without an adapter.

How can I confirm the lamp is delivering the rated 3500 lumens after installation?

Run the built-in test pattern in a darkened room; a clean, uniform white field at the 33 to 300 inch screen range with the 2× manual zoom set to wide indicates the lamp is performing to its 6000 hour life rating.
