Panasonic PT-U1X87 replacement lamp

The Panasonic PT-U1X87 is a genuine compatible replacement projector lamp module designed for specific Panasonic projectors. It arrives as a fully assembled 155W UHM bulb inside its housing, ready for immediate installation without extra assembly steps. This unit suits owners needing a direct swap to restore brightness. It is not for users whose projector requires a different lamp code or wattage.

155W UHM bulb thermals and life

The lamp operates at 155 watts and is rated for 2,000 hours of typical use. Power draw remains steady at this wattage during normal projection, and the UHM design maintains consistent ignition voltage throughout the rated lifespan. Thermal output matches the original specification, so the projector's existing cooling system handles it without modification. No separate fan or ballast changes are required.

Assembled housing and ISO9001 build quality

The pre-fitted housing eliminates alignment hassles and reduces installation time to a simple module swap. Each lamp is produced under ISO9001 quality controls and tested for beam performance, ignition reliability, voltage stability, physical appearance, connector fit and run-time consistency. These checks ensure the replacement behaves like the original from first start-up. No software or firmware updates accompany the lamp.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PT-U1X87 lamp module and what step is often missed?

Insert the fully assembled 155W UHM bulb and housing into the projector, then reset the lamp timer in the menu so the 2,000 Hrs counter starts from zero.

What maintenance will this lamp need after extended use?

Replace the entire module once the 2,000 Hrs rated life is reached; no separate bulb change or filter service is required for this unit.

What limit appears first during continuous operation?

The 2,000 Hrs lamp life rating is the primary limit; brightness will gradually decline as the 155W UHM bulb approaches that threshold.
