throw laser projector for tight venues

The Panasonic PT-VMZ7STBU8 delivers 7000 lumens from a WUXGA laser LCD engine with a 0.8:1 throw ratio, so large images appear even when the unit sits close to the screen. It accepts 4K signal input and includes Digital Link for single-cable video and control. Suited to lecture halls, boardrooms, exhibitions and simulation setups where space is limited.

Compact black chassis with flexible mounting

The short-throw lens lets installers place the projector near the wall or ceiling without long cable runs, while Digital Link reduces cabling to one protected Ethernet-type connection. Laser light source removes lamp replacements and maintains consistent brightness over time. Black cabinet fits discreetly into darkened rooms. Buyers who need ultra-short throw distances below 0.8:1 or higher native resolution than WUXGA should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What does the 0.8:1 throw ratio mean for placement?

The 0.8:1 short-throw lens lets you place the projector much closer to the screen than a standard lens, producing a wide image in tight rooms.

What physical space does the black cabinet need for installation?

The black chassis fits ceiling mounts or tabletop setups; its short-throw design reduces the depth required behind the screen for a 7000-lumen image.
