Fully rugged convertible laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is a fully rugged convertible laptop built for field professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration, dust and water. Its magnesium alloy chassis meets MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 certification. A 10.1-inch sunlight-viewable LED touchscreen with 1024 x 768 resolution supports both finger and digitiser pen input. The unit ships new with Windows 10 Pro installed.

Verify memory and OS architecture

This model uses DDR3 memory running at 800 MHz in a 2 GB x 2 configuration for 4 GB total. The processor is a single-core Intel Core i5 at 2.70 GHz. Windows 10 Pro is offered in 32-bit and 64-bit variants; the 32-bit edition will not address the full memory capacity. Check that any required legacy applications run on this processor architecture and that the 32/64-bit OS choice matches your software licences.

Bundled pen and adapter enable mobile work

A digitiser pen is included for precise input on the convertible touchscreen when the device is used in tablet mode. The supplied power adapter provides the only charging method confirmed by the specifications. No optical drive is present, so software installation must use USB media or network downloads. The integrated Verizon 4G LTE modem and GPS receiver are ready for activation on compatible carrier plans.
