Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 10.1" convertible

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is a fully rugged convertible laptop with a 10.1-inch touchscreen. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 2.70GHz Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of DDR3 memory. The 160GB hard drive provides local storage. MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 certifications confirm resistance to drops, vibration and water ingress. A digitizer pen and power adapter are included.

Field workers needing daylight readability

The sunlight-viewable LED reaches up to 6000 nit for outdoor use and Verizon 4G LTE keeps the unit connected in remote areas. The single-core processor and DDR3 800 memory limit performance for modern multitasking or heavy applications. Buyers who need solid-state storage, current Wi-Fi standards or a lighter tablet should consider other options.

Single-core 2.70GHz i5 with DDR3 800 memory

The processor uses a single core running at 2.70GHz paired with 8GB of DDR3 800 RAM. This combination determines whether the system can handle your specific software workload. Verify that your applications run acceptably on this architecture before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10 Pro for this CF-19?

The 2.7 GHz Core i5 supports both, so choose 64-bit to use all 8 GB of DDR3 800 memory; 32-bit would leave roughly 4 GB unusable.

What does the 2.7 GHz single-core i5 mean for everyday tasks on this Toughbook?

It runs Windows 10 Pro and typical business apps smoothly, but the single core limits heavy multitasking or modern multi-threaded workloads.

The LAN port says 10/100/1000 Mbps — what speed will I actually get?

The gigabit Ethernet caps at 1000 Mbps; real-world throughput depends on your switch and cabling but will not exceed that limit.
