Rugged convertible laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is a fully rugged convertible laptop built for field professionals who need a device that survives drops, vibration and exposure to dust or water. Its magnesium alloy chassis meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certification, and the screen swivels to transform the notebook into a tablet. A digitizer pen is included for precise input in tablet mode.

Core i5 performance with 8 GB DDR3

A 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 8 GB of DDR3 800 memory handle office applications, web browsing and custom field software. The 500 GB hard drive stores local data and the operating system, though mechanical storage limits boot and load speeds compared with solid-state drives. The single-core processor architecture restricts heavy multitasking or modern compute-intensive workloads.

Sunlight-viewable touch display and connectivity

The 10.1 inch XGA touch LED panel reaches 6000 nit brightness for readability in direct sunlight. Integrated Verizon 4G LTE, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 keep the unit connected on site. Gigabit LAN provides a wired option when available. The system ships with Windows 10 Pro 32/64 bit and a power adapter.

Questions about this item

Will the 10/100/1000Mbps LAN and 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN work with my existing network switches and router?

Yes, the Gigabit Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n radio are backward-compatible with older 10/100 switches and 802.11b/g routers, so they will connect at the highest common speed.

How can I verify the touch digitizer and Verizon 4G LTE modem are functioning after I power on the CF-19?

Open Device Manager and confirm the HID-compliant touch screen and the WWAN module appear without errors; then launch the WWAN connection utility to register on the Verizon network and test data throughput.

Does the package include the digitizer pen and the AC power adapter, or must I purchase them separately?

The digitizer pen and the power adapter are both included in the box; no separate purchase is required for those accessories.
