Rugged 13.1-inch touchscreen laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is a fully rugged notebook built to MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards. It serves field workers, first responders, and mobile professionals who need a computer that survives drops, vibration, and water exposure. The 13.1-inch sunlight-viewable XGA display supports touch and digitizer pen input.

Ready to deploy with included accessories

The unit ships with Windows 10 Pro installed, a digitizer pen, and a power adapter, so it works straight from the box. Installation involves only connecting the adapter and pressing the power button. The sealed port covers and fixed internal components mean there are no user-serviceable parts to misalign during setup.

Single-core 2.4GHz processor with 4GB DDR3

The Intel Core i5 MK1 runs at 2.40GHz on a single core with 4GB of DDR3 800 memory arranged as 2 GB x 2. This specification defines the performance ceiling for legacy 32-bit or light 64-bit applications. Buyers who need multi-threaded throughput or modern memory capacity should consider other platforms.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the 13.1-inch 1024 x 768 touchscreen responds to the included digitizer pen after first boot?

Open a drawing or note application, tap and drag the pen across the LED panel; the cursor should track without lag and the pressure-sensitive tip should register varying line widths immediately.

Which items ship inside the box and which essentials must I source separately?

The package contains the CF-31 unit, digitizer pen, and power adapter; you will need to add any external optical drive, additional DDR3 800 memory modules, or a spare 160 GB hard drive yourself.

Should I choose the 32-bit or 64-bit edition of Windows 10 Pro for this 4 GB DDR3 configuration?

Select the 64-bit version; it addresses the full 4 GB of DDR3 800 RAM and supports modern 64-bit applications, while the 32-bit edition would leave a portion of memory unusable.
