Panasonic CF-31 MK4 rugged laptop

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 MK4 is a fully rugged laptop built to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 standards. It runs an Intel Core i5-3340M processor at 2.80 GHz with 8 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. The 13.1 inch XGA touchscreen offers 1024 x 768 resolution with CircuLumin technology for sunlight viewing. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed and the unit includes an AC adapter and recovery DVD.

Field workers needing certified durability

This laptop suits professionals who require a device tested for drops, shock, vibration, rain, dust, sand, altitude, temperature extremes and explosive atmospheres. The sealed all-weather design, magnesium alloy case and shock-mounted drive suit field service, utilities and public safety roles. Buyers who need Windows 11 support should look elsewhere, as the supplier confirms this unit is not upgradeable to Windows 11. Users requiring higher screen resolution or modern processor performance will also need a different platform.

Windows 10 Pro locked to version 10

The operating system is Windows 10 Professional with no upgrade path to Windows 11. This single specification decides whether the laptop fits environments that mandate the latest OS security lifecycle or application compatibility. If your organisation requires Windows 11, this CF-31 MK4 cannot meet that requirement.
