48-Port Modular Patch Panel for 19" Racks

The Panduit CPP48FMWBLY is a 2U rack-mountable panel that accepts up to 48 Mini-Com modules for copper or fibre terminations. It fits a standard 19-inch rack and presents a clean, black front for organised cable management in network rooms or surveillance closets.

Sustained Operation in Dense Installations

With 1U of vertical space above and below the 3.5-inch panel height, airflow moves freely around fully populated ports during continuous data traffic. The all-metal frame resists heat buildup better than plastic alternatives, keeping insertion forces consistent over long duty cycles.

RoHS-Compliant Steel Construction

The panel carries RoHS certification and an environmentally friendly designation, confirming restricted-substance compliance for regulated projects. Each port opening aligns precisely with Mini-Com jack footprints, so modules seat firmly without wobble, and the 1-inch depth clears most rear cable managers without forcing cables into tight bends.

Questions about this item

Does the 48-port Panduit patch panel need its own power supply or cooling when mounted in a 19" rack?

No — the CPP48FMWBLY is a passive panel with 48 RJ-45 ports and no active electronics, so it draws no power and generates no heat.

What must I already have to terminate cables on the 48 RJ-45 ports of this 2U panel?

You need Panduit Mini-Com snap-in modules for each port plus a punch-down or keystone tool to terminate the copper conductors.

Will my existing Cat 5e or Cat 6 patch cords plug straight into the 48 RJ-45 ports on this 3.5" high panel?

Yes — every port is a standard RJ-45 jack, so any RJ-45 patch cord regardless of category fits and locks securely.
