SKU CH-AHZY-P9BGV MPN FC29N-24-10U

OS2 cassette connects two MPO inputs to twelve duplex LC outputs for twenty-four fibres

  • OS2 single-mode fibre for long-distance links
  • 24 fibres total across 12 duplex LC ports
  • Two MPO male connectors enable high-density trunking
  • Complies with TIA/EIA-568-C.3 and IEEE 802.3ae standards
  • Supports ANSI T11.2 Fibre Channel applications

OS2 fibre cassette for 24 fibres

The Panduit FC29N-24-10U is an OS2 single-mode cassette that terminates 24 fibres through two MPO male connectors to twelve duplex LC adapters. It fits OptiCom rack or wall-mount enclosures and is built for backbone links in enterprise and data-centre environments.

MPO-to-LC transition replaces fan-out assemblies

The cassette replaces loose-tube fan-out kits and splice trays by providing a factory-polished MPO-to-LC breakout in a single module. The jump is worth it when installers need repeatable low-loss performance to TIA/EIA-568-C.3 and IEEE 802.3ae without field polishing or splice equipment.

Suits installers deploying 24-fibre OS2 trunks

Network teams rolling out 24-fibre OS2 trunk cables with MPO terminations will save labour and guarantee insertion-loss compliance. Teams that require APC polish, different fibre counts, or non-OptiCom footprints should look at other cassette families.
