Duplex LC Fibre Patch Cord

The Panduit FX2ERLNLNSNM001 is a 3 ft duplex patch cord with LC connectors on both ends. It uses an OM3 two-fibre construction and a 1.6 mm jacket. The cable is riser rated for vertical runs between floors.

Suitable Installations and Limits

This cord suits installers who need a short aqua-coloured OM3 link with LC duplex terminations. It is not for buyers who require a different fibre grade, a single-fibre simplex assembly or connectors such as SC or MTP. Lengths other than 3 ft are not covered by this part number.

OM3 Multimode Classification

The OM3 rating defines the modal bandwidth characteristics of this multimode fibre. That classification decides whether the cord meets the link budget for the intended network speed and distance. Verify the required fibre type against the system design before ordering.

Questions about this item

What equipment is needed to connect this 3 ft LC duplex patch cord?

Two devices with LC duplex ports such as transceivers or patch panels are required for the connection.

Can this aqua OM3 cord be used with existing OM1 or OM2 cables in the same link?

Yes, it will operate at the lower bandwidth of the legacy cable but the LC connectors mate directly.

How can I confirm the cord is performing correctly after installation?

Use a light source and power meter to measure end-to-end loss and compare it with the expected OM3 duplex reference values.
