45U Wide Steel Rack Frame

This Panduit R4P frame provides 45U of rack space in a wide steel construction finished in black. It measures 84.0 inches high by 23.25 inches wide by 30.0 inches deep. The unit is RoHS certified and built for structural mounting.

Suited for dense equipment rows.

The wide 23.25-inch width suits high-density deployments needing extra side clearance for cabling or airflow. Installations limited to standard 24-inch floor tiles or narrow aisle layouts should verify clearance before specifying this frame.

2500 lb maximum weight capacity

The frame supports up to 2500 lb of equipment when loaded evenly across the #12-24 threaded rails. This single rating determines whether the rack can handle your planned hardware population without additional reinforcement.

Questions about this item

What must the mounting surface support for this 2500 lb Panduit R4P frame?

The floor or raised-tile platform must sustain the full 2500 lb static load plus the weight of installed equipment.

Will the #12-24 threaded rails on this 45U rack accept hardware from my older cabinets?

Yes, any server or accessory with standard #12-24 mounting holes will bolt directly to the rails.

How do I verify the rack is square and level after assembly?

Measure the diagonals across the 84.0-inch height and 30.0-inch depth; equal diagonals confirm the frame is square, then check level at the top rails.
