Category 6 Patch Cord

This Panduit cable is a Category 6 unshielded twisted-pair patch cord terminated with TX6 modular plugs on both ends. It uses 28 AWG conductors and measures seven feet in length with a green jacket. The cord is designed for standard copper Ethernet connections in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for short Gigabit links

The seven-foot reach suits desk-to-switch or patch-panel-to-device runs where a compact green cable aids colour-coded cable management. Installers needing longer horizontal runs, shielded construction or a different wire gauge should select an alternative cable type.

Handles Gigabit Ethernet with headroom to spare

Category 6 performance supports 1 Gbps operation across the full seven-foot length with margin for crosstalk and attenuation. The 28 AWG conductors limit power-over-Ethernet current capacity, so high-wattage PoE applications will require a heavier-gauge cable.
