Vehicle Multi-Band Antenna

The Panorama Antennas GP-IN2679-LC combines 4x4 MiMo 4G/5G, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou with 26 dB LNA gain, and up to 6x6 MiMo WiFi 6e in a single sharkfin housing. It covers 617 MHz to 960 MHz and 1427 MHz to 6000 MHz for cellular, plus dedicated GNSS reception. A whip stud and blanking cap are included for flexible mounting. The unit installs through one panel hole and works on metal or non-metal surfaces.

Installers Needing Consolidated RF

Fleet and public-safety integrators who want one radome instead of separate cellular, GNSS and WiFi antennas will fit this model. It suits covert or overt roof mounting where a low-profile black finish is required. Buyers who only need a single-band cellular whip or a passive GPS patch should look at simpler antennas. The design also assumes the vehicle roof can serve as a ground plane for the whip option.

Frequency Coverage Decides Fit

The antenna transmits and receives from 617 MHz to 960 MHz and from 1427 MHz to 6000 MHz. If the target network operates outside these bands — for example VHF low-band or UHF above 6000 MHz — this unit will not provide gain. Verify the carrier frequencies and GNSS constellations needed before purchase.

Questions about this item

What panel cut-out and metal surface does the GP-IN2679-LC need for the whip mount?

The antenna requires a single hole mount; when the external whip is used it must be fitted on a metal panel, otherwise it can be installed on a non-metallic panel with similar performance.

Which cables and connectors are attached to the GP-IN2679-LC, and what routing mistake should I avoid?

The sharkfin housing integrates 4x4 MiMo 4G/5G, up to 6x6 MiMo WiFi 6e, and up to four GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou leads with 26 dB LNA gain; do not kink or sharply bend the cables during routing.

When should I replace the blanking cap or the whip on the GP-IN2679-LC?

Replace the blanking cap if its seal cracks or the cap loosens; replace the whip if the element bends, the base threads strip, or corrosion appears on the stud mount.
