Directional MIMO Antenna for 4G and 5G

The WMM8G-7-38 is a high-gain directional antenna built for 2x2 MIMO operation across 2G, 3G, 4G and selected 5G networks. It suits fixed-wireless installations where a focused signal path improves throughput and reliability. The single housing contains two separately fed wideband elements to deliver client-side diversity support. It is intended for outdoor mounting on walls or masts where line-of-sight to the base station is available.

6-8 dBi gain across 3.4-3.8 GHz bands

The antenna provides 6-8 dBi directional gain, concentrating energy toward the serving cell to boost received signal quality. Coverage extends through the 3.4 to 3.8 GHz range used by newer 5G deployments alongside existing 4G bands. Performance drops off outside this window, so it will not help with lower-frequency bands or millimetre-wave 5G. The fixed gain and pattern are optimised for point-to-multipoint client use rather than broad sector coverage.

Weatherproof housing with 5 m twin cable

A rugged weatherproof enclosure protects the elements for permanent outdoor exposure. Supplied brackets allow both wall and mast mounting without extra hardware. Five metres of fitted low-loss double-shielded twin cable reduces exposed connector joints and simplifies routing to the router or modem. The integrated cable means connector type is fixed; installations requiring different terminations or longer runs need a separate solution.

Questions about this item

Will the WMM8G-7-38 work with my existing 4G router that has two SMA ports?

Yes, the antenna provides 2x2 MiMo support for 2G, 3G and 4G networks and comes with 5 metres of fitted twin cable to connect directly to dual SMA ports.

How can I verify the WMM8G-7-38 is delivering the 6-8dBi directional gain after I mount it?

Check the signal strength and quality metrics on your router's admin page; a noticeable improvement in RSRP and SINR values confirms the antenna is performing as specified.

Does the WMM8G-7-38 package include the wall and mast brackets, or do I need to buy them separately?

Both wall and mast mounting brackets are provided in the box along with the antenna and its fitted 5 metre twin cable.
