Portable 2G 3G 4G Antenna

The Panorama Antennas TPD-BC3G-26-05SMAP is a portable antenna built for mobile broadband data cards, express cards and USB modems. It targets users who need better cellular reception while travelling or working remotely. The compact design fits inside the original modem packaging for easy bundling.

8-Band Coverage Under Sustained Use

The antenna operates across eight bands including 700 MHz LTE, quadband cellular, 3G UMTS, AWS, GPS and LTE. This wide coverage maintains a stable connection during long sessions on varied networks worldwide. The CRC9 or TS9 connector provides a direct link to the modem without extra adapters. Signal remains consistent when the device stays in a fixed position.

Hook-and-Loop Mounting Simplicity

A hook-and-loop pad lets you attach the antenna to a notebook or laptop screen in seconds. No tools or permanent fixtures are required. The main issue arises if the pad loses adhesion on textured or curved surfaces, causing the antenna to shift. Ensure the mounting area is clean and flat for reliable placement.

Questions about this item

How much power does the TPD-BC3G-26-05SMAP draw when it is attached to a modem all day?

The antenna is completely passive and draws no power from the modem or any other source.

Which connector must my modem already have so the TPD-BC3G-26-05SMAP can plug straight in?

Your modem needs a CRC9 or TS9 socket; the antenna ships with the matching plug for direct connection.

Will the TPD-BC3G-26-05SMAP still improve signal on an older USB modem that only supports 3G UMTS?

Yes, the antenna covers the 3G UMTS bands along with 2G, 4G LTE down to 700 MHz and GPS, so it works with legacy modems.
