Scale and subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model reproduces the Junkers Ju 87G2 Stuka flown by Oberst Hans-Ulrich Rudel with 10. (Pz) /SG 2 Immelmann in Romania during 1944. It is made for adult collectors and military-history enthusiasts who value accurate, officially licensed replicas.

Dimensions and detail

The model measures approximately 6.25 inches in length with a 7.5 inch wingspan, providing enough surface for realistic panel lines, antennas and access panels. The opening canopy adds interior visibility, while included missile accessories complete the armament layout; the fixed scale means larger diorama elements or finer cockpit instrumentation are not represented.

Display integration

A supplied display stand allows immediate shelf or desk presentation without extra hardware. Diecast metal construction with plastic parts gives a heavy, realistic feel and durability for handling during arrangement. Buyers who need flight-stand articulation, motorised features or a larger scale for squadron groupings will find this model does not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/72 scale Ju 87G2 sit consistently alongside other 1/72 aircraft on the same shelf?

How can I confirm the opening canopy operates correctly once the model is on the stand?

Gently slide the canopy rearward; it should move smoothly on its hinges without forcing, revealing the cockpit interior detail.
