1/72 Scale Abrams Diecast Model

This Panzerkampf model reproduces the General Dynamics M1A2 SEP V2 Abrams tank in 1/72 scale with diecast metal and plastic construction. It represents the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division markings. The limited edition piece arrives in a protective display case and manufacturer's original unopened packaging. It is built for adult collectors and military history enthusiasts who value accurate scale replicas.

Upgrade from Smaller Scale or Plastic Kits

Collectors moving up from smaller scales or all-plastic kits gain a heavier, more realistic feel with pad-printed markings that resist fading or peeling. The jump is worth it when you want a display-ready model with true-to-scale exterior detail and a fixed plastic stand included. This model does not have any openings, so it is not suited for builders who want interior access or motorised features.

Check Display Space and Scale Compatibility

Before ordering, verify that the approximate dimensions of 4.25 inches long (5.25 inches with cannon), 2 inches wide and 1.75 inches high fit your display area. Confirm that 1/72 scale matches the rest of your collection for visual consistency. The painted, non-moving tracks and fixed wheels mean the model is static only, so ensure you do not require moving parts.

Questions about this item

What display space does the 4.25 inch long model with its 5.25 inch cannon require?

The model measures 4.25 inches long without the cannon and 5.25 inches with it, plus 2 inches wide and 1.75 inches high, so allow a few extra centimetres around the included plastic stand.

How do I place the model on its stand without damaging the painted tracks?

Lift the hull by its sides and set the fixed tracks straight onto the moulded cradle; do not roll the non-rotating wheels or force the cannon into the slot.

Will the pad-printed 1st Armored Brigade markings need any touch-up over time?

The pad-printed markings are designed not to fade or peel like decals, so no touch-up is expected under normal display conditions.
