Secure Laser Checks

8-1/2'' x 11" Premier Blue/Red Prismatic Laser Checks are continuous-form documents designed for high-volume accounts-payable printing. Each carton contains 2500 sheets on 24# stock formatted with the payee line in the middle position. The paper is Check 21 compliant and works with MICR printers used by finance departments.

Finance teams needing prismatic security

Organisations that require the combined prismatic two-tone pattern and heat-sensitive thermochromatic red shield will match this specification. Buyers who need a different check position, a single-colour marble version or a smaller pack size should consider other DocuGard listings.

Software compatibility

The checks are blank and compatible with Quicken, QuickBooks, PeachTree and Microsoft Money so data flows directly from those packages to the MICR printer. Bundled security features — hidden VOID pantograph, DocuGard watermark, coin-reactive ink and microtext printing — protect each printed document without extra setup.

Questions about this item

What software must I already use to print on these checks?

They work with Quicken, QuickBooks, PeachTree and Microsoft Money, so any of those packages will generate the layout the checks expect.

Can I run these through a laser printer that normally takes standard-weight paper?

The 24# stock is heavier than typical office paper; check your printer’s maximum media weight before loading a full ream.

How do I verify the security features are active on a printed check?

Tilt the check to see the prismatic blue/red ink shift, rub the red shield to watch the thermochromatic ink react to heat, and hold it to light for the DocuGard watermark and microtext lines.
