Silent Mini PC for Office and Display Tasks

The Partaker B1-I5 4200U-16G240G is a fanless desktop computer built around an Intel Core i5 4th Gen processor running at 1.60 GHz with a 2.60 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a 240 GB SSD, plus Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. The aluminium chassis measures 197 mm square by 37 mm thick and uses passive cooling for completely silent operation.

Suits Noise-Sensitive Spaces; Not for Heavy Compute

This unit fits classrooms, meeting rooms or digital-signage screens where zero acoustic output matters and dual-display support via VGA and HDMI is required. Buyers who need more storage than the single 240 GB drive provides, or who rely on 5 GHz Wi-Fi and USB 3.1 speeds, should look at something else. The DDR3 memory ceiling of 16 GB also limits virtualization workloads.

Steady Thermals Under Continuous Load

Because the full-metal case doubles as a heatsink, the i5-4200U maintains its base frequency during extended sessions without throttling spikes. Gigabit LAN at 10/100/1000 Mbps and dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi keep network throughput stable for streaming or remote-management tasks. The 12 V 3 A or 5 A power brick supplies consistent power for 24/7 operation.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy a monitor separately for the Partaker B1-I5 4200U-16G240G?

Yes, the system ships without a display. Connect a screen via the VGA or HDMI port to use the Intel HD Graphics 4400 output.

Can I keep my existing DDR3 SO-DIMM modules when upgrading this mini PC?

The board has two SO-DIMM slots supporting DDR3L at 1333 or 1600 MT/s up to 16 GB total, so compatible DDR3L sticks can be reused.

How can I verify the fanless Partaker B1 is running correctly after first boot?

With no fan, silence is normal. Check that Windows 10 Pro loads, both VGA and HDMI show video, the RTL8168 Gigabit LAN links at 1000 Mbps, and the dual-antenna Wi-Fi connects.
