Fanless Mini PC for silent spaces

The Partaker B1 is a compact desktop built around an Intel Core i5-4200U processor running at 1.60 GHz with a turbo up to 2.60 GHz. It arrives with Windows 10 Pro installed and uses a passive aluminium chassis that eliminates all moving parts. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 drives two displays via VGA and HDMI. Four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and Gigabit Ethernet handle peripherals and wired networking.

Suits offices and kiosks needing zero noise

This system fits reception desks, digital-signage players or meeting-room PCs where silent operation matters. Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with two external antennas covers wireless needs. Buyers who want more storage than the single included drive should look elsewhere, as the spec sheet does not confirm additional bays. Anyone requiring modern DDR4 memory or a newer CPU generation will not find it here.

8GB DDR3 memory and 128GB storage decide fit

The board holds 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 128GB solid-state drive, both fixed in the listed configuration. Memory can be expanded to 16GB using the two SO-DIMM slots if the workload demands it. Verify that your applications run on a 4th-generation dual-core CPU before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the DDR3 memory need to be upgraded later and what is the maximum supported?

The system uses DDR3L SO-DIMM modules and supports up to 16 GB across two slots.

What thermal limit appears first during continuous load on the fanless chassis?

The aluminium case passively dissipates heat from the 15 W i5-4200U; sustained loads will throttle at the CPU's 100 °C junction limit.

How much power does the unit draw when running 24/7 with the 12 V supply?

The included 12 V 3 A or 5 A adapter provides up to 36–60 W, while the i5-4200U TDP is 15 W, leaving headroom for peripherals.
