partaker C6 Fanless Firewall Appliance J6412 16GB 512GB 3×2.5GbE

Purpose-built firewall appliance

The Partaker C6 is a fanless mini PC designed for network security roles such as pfSense or OPNsense deployments. It ships with an Intel Celeron J6412 quad-core processor, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB M.2 SSD. Three Intel I225-V 2.5 GbE ports provide the wired throughput needed for gateway, VPN or multi-WAN configurations.

Sustained-load behaviour

Because the chassis is passively cooled, the J6412 runs at its 2.0 GHz base frequency without thermal throttling during continuous packet inspection or VPN encryption workloads. AES-NI acceleration keeps CPU utilisation low even when multiple IPsec tunnels are active. The 16 GB DDR4 capacity handles large state tables and logging without paging to the SSD.

Thermals, noise and power

Fanless operation means zero acoustic output, making the unit suitable for noise-sensitive locations such as offices or retail counters. The aluminium enclosure dissipates heat across its 150 × 126.5 × 45 mm footprint, staying within the 0–40 °C commercial operating range under typical loads. Power draw remains modest, consistent with a low-wattage SoC and solid-state storage.
