Partaker R11 1U firewall appliance

The Partaker R11 is a 19-inch 1U rackmount network appliance built around an Intel Core i7-3520M processor with AES-NI support. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and a 512 GB mSATA SSD, ready for immediate deployment. Six Intel Gigabit LAN ports provide high-throughput wired connectivity for routing, firewall or VPN duties. The unit supports FreeBSD-based router platforms, Linux distributions and Windows, making it suitable for pfSense, OPNsense, Untangle and similar open-source solutions.

Silent ball-bearing fan with 100 W universal supply

Cooling is handled by a dedicated ball-bearing silent fan that keeps the processor stable during continuous operation. The supplier notes the original industrial motherboard draws low power and produces minimal heat. A 100 W internal power supply accepts 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz, eliminating the need for an external adapter. Measured LAN-to-WAN forwarding throughput reaches 1 Gbps through the Intel 82583V/82574L controllers.

Rack ears wall-mount feet and expansion headroom

The chassis measures 430 x 250 x 50 mm and weighs 6.5 kg, supplied with rack-mount ears, wall-hanging brackets and rubber feet for flexible placement. Front and rear I/O includes console, VGA, two USB ports, six RJ-45 ports and a power switch. One 2.5/3.5-inch drive bay remains open for additional storage, and a Wi-Fi module can be added on request. No separate keyboard, monitor or switch is included in the pack.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 1U chassis in a 19-inch rack and which step is often missed?

Attach the supplied rack ears to the 430 mm wide chassis, slide it into the rack and secure both front and rear brackets; the rear supports are the step most installers forget.

Which memory module will need replacement if I want more than 8 GB?

The single SODIMM DDR3/L slot is already populated at the 8 GB maximum, so any upgrade requires removing the existing stick and is limited to 1333 or 1600 MT/s modules.

What throughput ceiling appears first during continuous 1 Gbps forwarding?

The six Intel 82583V/82574L controllers and the 100 W power supply limit sustained LAN-to-WAN throughput to 1000 Mbps.
