Clear Poly Sheeting for Outdoor Projects

This 6 mil clear polyethylene sheeting measures 8 feet by 100 feet and is designed for yard and outdoor use. It serves as a durable vapor barrier, ground cover or temporary weather protection for landscaping and construction tasks. Homeowners and contractors can unroll it quickly to shield soil, equipment or building materials from moisture and debris. The product ships new in a single case from the manufacturer.

Check Roll Dimensions and Material Needs

Verify that the 8-foot width and 100-foot length match the area you intend to cover before ordering. Confirm that a 6 mil thickness provides sufficient puncture resistance for your specific application such as heavy foot traffic or sharp debris. Ensure you have a dry storage space for the full roll until it is deployed outdoors. The sheeting is supplied as a single continuous piece without pre-cut sections.

Lightweight Handling and Weather Resistance

The polyethylene material remains flexible in cool temperatures and resists tearing during normal installation and removal. It adds minimal weight to structures when used as a temporary roof or wall covering. No powered equipment is required to position or secure the sheeting on site. First listed by the manufacturer in 2022, it has no moving parts and produces no operational noise.

Questions about this item

Does the CF608C roll come with any fasteners or tape, or must they be purchased separately?

The package contains only the 6-mil clear poly sheeting roll; fasteners, tape or framing materials are not included and must be sourced separately.

How do I decide between the 6-mil CF608C and a heavier or lighter mil option for my project?

Choose 6 mil when you need a balance of tear resistance and flexibility for temporary enclosures, vapour barriers or dust containment; step up to a higher mil for prolonged UV exposure or heavy abrasion, or down to a lower mil for short-term dust sheets.

What does the 6-mil thickness mean once the sheeting is unrolled on site?

At 6 mil the film resists punctures from light debris and staples while remaining pliable enough to drape over framing without cracking in cool temperatures.
