Product identity

Partners Brand EP3318225BX Cased Edge Protectors are white protective strips measuring 3 by 3 by 18 inches with a .225 thickness. They are intended for warehouse staff and shipping departments that need to shield pallet edges and box corners during transit.

Thermals, noise and power

These protectors contain no moving parts, electronics or power supply, so they generate no heat, no audible noise and draw no electricity in normal use. They simply sit on the load and absorb strap tension without adding thermal load to the environment.

Build fit

Each case supplies 110 pieces, providing enough protectors for multiple pallets or large cartons without requiring additional hardware. The lightweight strips add minimal bulk to shipments and can be applied by hand, freeing up strapping tools for other tasks.

Questions about this item

How do I install the .225 cased edge protectors on an 18-inch load, and what step do people often miss?

Slide each 3x3 inch leg over the strapping contact points on the 18-inch edge; the step often missed is seating the protector before tensioning the strap so the case does not shift.

What maintenance or replacement will the 110-count pack of white edge protectors need later?

Inspect each .225 protector after every shipment; replace any that show cracked corners or compressed walls before the next pallet is strapped.

What limit shows up first on the 3x3x18 protectors under sustained strapping tension?

The .225 wall thickness yields first, allowing the leg to deform and lose corner protection if strap tension exceeds the material's recovery point.
