Envelope Size and Format

These open-end catalog envelopes measure 10 by 15 inches and feature a center seam construction. The flap-down design uses a remoistening seal for secure closure. They are sold in a box of 500 units, suitable for high-volume mailing operations.

Capacity and Paper Weight

Rated at 28 pound basis weight, the white sulphite stock handles standard catalogs, reports and multi-page documents without tearing. The 92 percent brightness ensures clear address visibility for automated sorting equipment. Very thick or rigid inserts may exceed the practical capacity of the open-end opening.

Finish and Certification

The vellum finish provides a smooth, professional surface that accepts handwriting, labels and inkjet printing cleanly. SFI certification confirms the paper originates from responsibly managed forest sources. The box weighs 28.5 pounds, making it manageable for single-person handling in a mailroom environment.

Questions about this item

Will these 10 x 15 inch envelopes fit in my older postage meter that takes catalog sizes?

The envelopes measure 10 by 15 inches, a standard catalog size that most postage meters designed for open-end envelopes can accept.

How can I confirm the 28# white sulphite paper is feeding correctly through my inserter?

Check for smooth feeding without jams, clean flap sealing with the remoistening adhesive, and a consistent vellum finish on each piece.

Does the box of 500 include any inner packs or do I need to buy moisture barrier bags separately?

The box contains 500 envelopes loose in a single carton; inner moisture barrier bags are not included and must be purchased separately.
